If you or someone you know needs food, clothing, or community support, there are several local programs ready to help. Below is a list of key resources, hours, and eligibility information.


Berkeley County CCAP / Loaves and Fishes

Provides food assistance every 30 days to Berkeley County residents. Also offers Thanksgiving and Christmas food baskets (deadlines: Nov. 1 and Dec. 1).

Eligibility: Must be a Berkeley County resident with proof of residency, photo ID, Social Security cards for all household members, and proof of total household income.


The Blessings Closet

Offers clothing, food, tents, sleeping bags, blankets, gloves, hats, socks, and educational items to those in need. Delivery available upon request.

Community Networks Inc. - HOPWA

Provides services for individuals living with HIV/AIDS, including case management, housing support, and access to food and laundry facilities.

Connections Community Church - Community Cupboard Food Pantry

Food distribution every 3rd Saturday of the month from 9:30 - 11:30 AM.

Eligibility: For USDA food, must be a Berkeley County resident with photo ID; non-residents receive non-perishable food.


Harvest Lighthouse Ministries

Provides a community food pantry.

Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry - Hedgesville Area Community Cupboard (HACC)

Food distributions on the 4th Saturday of each month from 9:00 - 10:00 AM (3rd Saturday in November & December).

Mercy to Others Ministry

Provides free food and small necessities such as hygiene items and pet food. Delivery available depending on location.

Mountaineer Food Bank Mobile Pantry

Distributes fresh food at scheduled mobile pantry events.

The Salvation Army - Martinsburg

Food pantry with produce, canned goods, and dry items. Community food box distribution on the first Wednesday each month, 10:00 - 11:00 AM.
