Peer and Family Support Services
At Eastridge Health Systems, we believe that recovery is most successful when people feel understood and supported by others who have walked a similar path. Our Peer and Family Support Services provide encouragement, guidance, and connection through individuals who bring lived experience with mental health, substance use recovery, or supporting a loved one through these challenges.
Peer support specialists use their personal experiences to inspire hope, share practical strategies, and walk alongside individuals as they navigate their own recovery journeys. By offering a unique perspective, peers create a sense of understanding and trust that helps break down stigma and empowers individuals to take active steps toward wellness.
In addition to individual peer support, we also recognize the vital role families play in the recovery process. Our family support services help loved ones better understand mental health and substance use challenges, develop healthy coping strategies, and learn how to provide meaningful encouragement without feeling overwhelmed themselves. Families are given a safe space to ask questions, share concerns, and connect with others facing similar experiences.
Together, peer and family support create a powerful network of understanding, resilience, and encouragement. These services remind every person and family that they are not alone, and that recovery is possible with the right support system in place.
